With the Discoco pendant light, Christophe Mathieu has designed an extraordinary and extravagant light for the Spanish manufacturer Marset. Even when switched off, the Discocó enriches every room, but when it is lit it has a wonderfully mysterious and lively effect thanks to the effective play of light and shadow around it. With the reduced but organically influenced design language, it is reminiscent of design objects from the mid-20th century. With its 35 shiny discs, the Discocó Color hanging lamp has the appearance of a beautiful and perfectly shaped flower that is in full bloom. The petals of the pendant lamp protect the light source and act as both a reflector and a diffuser! The individual leaves are made of polycarbonate.
